Setup Instructions.
Welcome to the ChatBot Console! We’re thrilled that you’ve chosen our innovative app to enhance your AI-driven chat experience. Before diving into the world of powerful conversations with GPT-3 and GPT-4, we’ve put together a simple and easy-to-follow setup guide to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience from the get-go.
In just a few minutes, you’ll be all set to explore the world of cutting-edge AI chatbots, without any ads or in-app purchases to hinder your experience. So, let’s get started with the setup process and unlock the full potential of ChatBot Console!
Supported Platforms
Step 1.
Generate API Key for Open AI
Go the the OpenAI website at: https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys
If you don’t already have an OpenAI account, create one by clicking the “Sign Up” button and following the prompts. If you already have an account, simply log in.
Once you are logged in, you’ll be taken to the OpenAI dashboard.
Click the “Create New Secret Key” button. Your API Key will be generated automatically. Copy the key and store it somewhere safe. You can now use your API key to access ChatBot.
Step 2.
Install ChatBot Console
Use the links to install ChatBot Console on the platform of your choice.
Once installed, enter the API key from the above step into the ChatBot textfield.
Then click, Update. It will perform a check on your API key and if verified you will be transitioned directly to the Chat Screen.
Step 3.
Using the interface
Welcome to the ChatBot Console! Let’s walk you through the user-friendly interface so you can easily interact with the prompt text field, submit your prompts, and utilize the helpful features available. Follow these simple steps for a seamless experience:
Submit a prompt: Write your desired prompt in the text field and press the “Submit” button. The app will generate a response, which you can then copy or share.
Top right icons: You’ll find three icons in the top right corner:
a. Trash Toggle: Clears the conversation thread.
b. Copy Icon: Copies the entire conversation thread to your clipboard.
c. Three Dots: Opens the settings menu, where you can switch your API key or toggle themes.
Top left icon:
a. Drawer: Opens a drawer with additional settings and controls.
Bottom right icons: There are two grey icons:
a. Stored Prompts Page: Access your stored prompts. To store a prompt, write it in the text field and tap the “+” sign in the bottom right. This adds your prompt for quick use in the future.
b. Store Prompt: With the prompt within the textfield, press this icon and it will be stored for future use.
With these easy-to-follow instructions, you’ll be ready to explore and enjoy the full potential of the ChatBot Console in no time!
